Join the Board of the Dutch Society for Immunology (DSI, NVvI)
Are you a Laboratory Specialist in Medical Immunology (Medisch Immunoloog) with the ambition to strengthen the connection between clinical, diagnostic, and research immunology in the Netherlands? The Board of the Dutch Society for Immunology (NVVI) is looking for a new member.
Our mission is to stimulate excellent immunological research and its application in clinical practice and laboratory diagnostics, and to promote the dissemination of knowledge about the immune system in health and disease. The society serves as an accessible platform for sharing information relevant to the field, fostering technological innovation, and supporting education and career development. In addition, the society promotes the interests of its members in the field of national and international science policy.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Medisch Immunoloog who can serve as a link between the NVVI and the Dutch Society for Medical Immunology (CMI).
The ideal candidate:
- Is a member of the NVVI and has been involved NVVI activities (e.g. committees, symposia, or international partner meetings);
- Has experience in laboratory diagnostics and clinical immunology;
- Has a good overview of immunological research in the Netherlands and the translation between bench and bedside;
- Is interested in policy and innovation in medical immunology and wants to contribute to national coordination and visibility of the field;
- Has strong communication skills and enjoys connecting clinicians, laboratory specialists, and researchers.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the integration of Medical immunology within the NVVI, to promote innovation in diagnostics, and to strengthen collaboration across the immunological community.
Eligibility
Applicants should be affiliated with a Dutch University Medical Center or diagnostic institute, and certified as a Laboratory Specialist in Medical Immunology in the CMI and member of the NVvI.
