This award is given to a person who has made outstanding scientific contributions to the field of immunology, mentored many young immunologists, and supported the NVVI.
The laureate should have demonstrated excellence in the following areas:
Outstanding scientific contributions to the field of immunology
Mentoring of young immunologists
Support of the NVVI
