Welcome to the website of the Dutch Society for Immunology (N.V.V.I.)

The Dutch Society for Immunology (NVVI) actively promotes and supports:

Excellence in immunological research, immunodiagnostic procedures and clinical immunological practice in the Netherlands. High quality of analyses of immunological parameters used in health care (for diagnostic purposes)
The societal position of the professional immunologist in all disciplines.

To achieve this, the NVVI organizes scientific meetings, maintains international contacts and has established a number of committees that regulate scientific, laboratory and clinical standards in immunology. The NVVI strives to provide input to national and international policies with the objective to strengthen the future of immunology in all disciplines.

FOCIS invites member societies to contribute to Immunology Update, the quarterly FOCIS e-Newsletter, by submitting a short article or announcement via the online submission form.

News items – New scientific advancements, publications, or discoveries to share with nearly 1,000 FOCIS members
Conference or consortium announcements – Promote upcoming conferences or consortiums, increase registrations, or link directly to virtual content
Brief articles – Short overviews of larger articles hosted on your website, including a “read more” link
Award recognitions – Highlight achievements of members, students, staff, associates, technicians, and others
Member resources – Share resources relevant to the FOCIS community
